2021.12.01 19:23 aishiiousness Please HELP! I don't even know how should I proceed this with.

I dont even know how should i proceed this with.
The list i have is called "authors_books_freq" which has values like
authors_books_freq= {'Virgil': 8, 'Charles Dickens': 8, 'Steven Nadler': 7, 'Larry J. Koenig': 7, 'Carolyn Keene': 7, 'Robert Paul Wolff': 7, 'Margaret Shepherd': 8, 'Jane B. Mason': 14, 'Nicholas Evans': 8, 'William Hjortsberg': 8 , so on and so forth}

#If the name of the author contains a "William", store 1 in out_list
#else store 0.
out_list = [___ if ' ' in ___ else ___ for (___,___) in ___ ]
#Calculate the ratio of authors with the name "William" in their name.
# HINT: You can do this by taking the sum of outlist and dividing
# by the total number of elements in outlist.
ratio = sum(out_list)/len(out_list)
print(f"{ratio*100:0.2f}% of all authors have a name 'William'. ")

2021.12.01 19:23 SolanumMelongena_ fuck spotify lol

i guess i could make an effort post with like links and explanations about how shit they are for music but you all can figure it out. any artist you talk to will tell you the payout is shit, and obviously centralizing all music on the servers of a single monopolistic is a bad idea. use soulseek or bittorrent or if they're not signed to a major label go to their website and buy their music directly. talk about music with your friends. see what your local scene is like.

2021.12.01 19:23 cjayblade23 Somewhere fun to work

Now I know fun doesn't really come to mind when the word work is said and there probably isn't much option for a "fun" job but hey surely there is a couple.
I tried getting a job at fortress only to be told that I need experience in a busy restaurant, cafe or bar for 2 years(I have been working at maccas for nearly 3 and im currently on one of the busiest club streets in the city so it gets really busy over the weekend. I really don't know how that doesn't count). I'm a little over working at the "happiest place in the world" and would love to try some new and exciting.
Probably a long shot but thanks in advance!!

2021.12.01 19:23 Apprehensive_Mind_87 Mcc 19 team predictions

1-teal 2-red 3-purple 4-emerald 5-ginger 6-yellow 7-pink 8-cerulean 9-mint 10-sapphire
-Teal is full of great players and could perform in most games -Red are great at pvp and some movement games and this team is overall decent -I feel like purple could pop off with the wisp and tapl duo. If tapl is able to chill and have fun he will most likely place top 5 and I feel like wisp could have his best performance yet -emerald is the best content team but also had potential to do well but I think the addition of slimecicle could bring the team down because of his lack of experience -ginger has Pete so they could do well, and teamed with grian this team could also do well but I don’t think they will perform as good as the others in the event

2021.12.01 19:23 kraken-kiki Bitcoin Full Node Guide: Securing Self-Sovereignty

The beauty of the Bitcoin network is that anyone can participate in it without permission. However, primarily out of convenience, most Bitcoin users don’t run nodes and instead trust third parties such as centralized exchanges and wallet providers to interact with the network on their behalf. This approach comes with notable tradeoffs, including reduced privacy and security, and goes against the entire ethos of crypto. The only way to use Bitcoin without having to trust a third party is to run a full node and use it to verify your transactions. In this guide, the Kraken Intelligence team explains the benefits of running a full node and how to get your own node up and running.
Why Run a Bitcoin Node? Though market participants commonly misconstrue miners as the backbone of Bitcoin, validators have the actual power on the network.
When you operate a full node, you remove the need to trust a third party to transact as you can verify all information independently. Said differently, a node can provide you with 100% fraud prevention and reinforce your privacy (as you no longer expose private information to a wallet provider).
What Nodes Do Nodes validate all transactions that occur on the network and ensure that all proposed blocks comply with the protocol rules, such as the following:

By communicating with each other, nodes share up-to-date transaction information and compare blocks proposed by miners to verify their authenticity and ensure everyone on the network has the same information. If a node does not recognize a transaction, it will not propagate it to other nodes across the network. As more nodes enter the network, it becomes stronger, more decentralized and less prone to a single point of failure.

So we’ve talked about the funniest lies, now let’s share the lies that make you the most irrationally mad. I’ll start.
Her recent assertion that the captain crunch binge was a troll. Bitch, PLEASE! We aaaaall know the only one you were trolling when you filmed that embarrassment was your pancreas. You just don’t want to admit you were just a fatty eating exactly what you wanted to. You sat your ass down to six servings of sugar blobs drowned in a full quart of milk out of a casserole dish at two am. JUST ADMIT IT! You claiming it was all a troll now after all this time is cringe to the tenth degree.

2021.12.01 19:23 drynionph Brand New Shiryo - Inu - DAPP based game & NFT’s in development! - Liquidity Lock - Launching Now on BSC

Welcome to Shiryo - Inu

Shiryo - Inu launching now on Ethereum and it seems that play to earn game tokens are still one of the best niches to buy in DeFi! The roadmap details a fully functional trading card based game which will allow for the earning of the native token through different incentives including weekly competitions!
Contract Address: 0x0e675f042b4C4053062e94ff4738e233D846A31b
The team recently released concepts for the trading cards on their Telegram group and their design team has done an amazing job, this is a gem in the making and it is still incredibly early if you get in now. Having only been life for less than 24 hours the token is sitting at just above a $1M market cap which is incredibly low for a play to earn game, the team is really active on Telegram and the holders seem to be diamond handed after seeing the potential in this project!
Everything about this project has been super clean so far, the chart looks good and the website and concepts released so far have been on point.
The whitepaper is to be released today alongside more mockups of the concept for the game, the marketing has been on point with calls from all the biggest names on Telegram and Twitter. The developer even just hired a social media specific marketing agency to help get even more eyes on the project, Shiryo-Inu is about to become synonymous with the likes of Floki and Mononoke - Inu, don’t sleep on this one!

2021.12.01 19:23 Leadpaynt Trouble with Exercism first problem

Hey Guys, im trying to brush off a little rust of my java skills. So i decided to try out Exercism website , and picked java as my language. For some strange reason i cant get past the first problem, and im wondering if im missing some explanation in how they are doing the test cases / testing the code in general. I am passing some test cases, but for some reason others are failing, because it keeps saying i need to implement all my functions , despite doing so.

public class Lasagna { Lasagna lasagna = new Lasagna(); // TODO: define the 'expectedMinutesInOven()' method public int expectedMinutesInOven(){ return 40; } // TODO: define the 'remainingMinutesInOven()' method public int remainingMinutesInOven(int x){ return lasagna.expectedMinutesInOven()-x; } // TODO: define the 'preparationTimeInMinutes()' method public int preparationTimeInMinutes(int y){ return y*2; } // TODO: define the 'totalTimeInMinutes()' method public int totalTimeInMinutes(int layerscount, int timelapsed){ return timelapsed + lasagna.preparationTimeInMinutes(layerscount); } }
I am getting errors like these below, and im pretty sure addition, subtraction, and multiplication are all supported operation in java.
Message: Please implement the totalTimeInMinutes(int, int) method Exception: java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: Please implement the totalTimeInMinutes(int, int) method at LasagnaTest.total_time_in_minutes_for_one_layer(LasagnaTest.java:92)
